FT Global Events
Overview
Date:    Afternoon of Wednesday 19th September 2007

Venue: London Stock Exchange

Risk-based capital management can help organisations to spot threats and weaknesses; identify opportunities that may be missed by competitors and target investment where it can earn its best return. It can also help to align risk appetite with capital allocation and communicate the tangible strengths and potential of the business to analysts, investors and rating agencies.  There is still an argument though that developing an effective risk based framework is an expensive project with results difficult to measure and monitor, in essence the risk v return trade off.  This event will answer these questions and many more in an exciting interactive forum.
