Mr. Simsek began his career as senior economist for the US Embassy in Ankara before joining UBS in New York in 1997, followed by posts at other banks including Deutsche–Bender Securities in Istanbul and Merrill Lynch in UK. At Merill Lynch, Mr. Simsek was responsible for emerging markets before being appointed Head of Economic and Strategic Research Department for EMEA in 2001. Mr. Simsek then became an M.P. for th AKP and in 2007, was elected to Parliament and appointed as the State Minister in charge of the Undersecretariat of Treasury.

Erkan was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Istanbul Stock Exchange in 2007. He began his career at the ISE in 1994, establishing the International Relations, Research and International Market departments at the ISE as well as the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) which currently has 31 stock exchanges as members. Mr. Erkan was promoted at the ISE as Executive Vice Chairman in 1995. Mr. Erkan served as the General Manager of Ticaret Securities for a short period following his departure from the Istanbul Stock Exchange as Executive Vice Chairman in 2006.

He was also a Board Member of Takasbank (Central Securities Depository, Settlement and Clearing Bank of ISE). Prior to this, Mr. Erkan was the Chief Advisor to the Board of Konya Sugar Company; largest private sector group of companies in sugar refining and agricultural products; to restructure the group’s activities.

Ersin Özince was elected Chairman of the Banks’ Association of Turkey on May 31, 2002. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Vehbi Koç Foundation along with his memberships at Institut Internationale d’Etudes Bancaires, Turkish Industrialists' & Businessmen's Association and The Board of Trustees of Bilkent University and Education Volunteers Foundation of Turkey.

After working at various managerial positions at Isbank, Ersin Özince was promoted to the post of Deputy Chief Executive in 1994 and until he became the CEO of Isbank in 1998, his responsibilities encompassed the Treasury, Accounting, Securities, Commercial Loans and the Credit Information and Financial Analysis departments of the Bank.

Atilla Kurama has been the Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of Yildiz Holding since 2005. Atilla Kurama began his career as Product Development Manager in National Commercial Bank and later he served as Credit Risk Management director in Swiss Bank Corporation and Credit Officer in UBS Warburg. He returned to Turkey in 2001 and joined Ülker, as Chairman of the Executive Board and General Manager of Family Finans Katilim Kurumu Inc. He also served as the Executive Board Member of various group companies. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Fon Finansal Kiralama and Board Member of Türkiye Finans Katilim Bankasi.

Mr. Kabatepe is the Managing Director of the Investment Banking team of Raymond James Securities, Turkey. Mr. Kabatepe has over 10 years experience in investment banking, beginning his career at Korfez Investment as an Equity Research Analyst in 1995. Prior to joining Raymond James Securities, Turkey in 2001, Mr. Kabatepe worked at R.W. Pressprich & Co. in New York City for three years.

Hande joined KPMG Istanbul in 1993. Hande worked for KPMG as an auditor for three years. She then changed her career path into corporate finance and worked in FinansInvest as a corporate finance group manager for five years, in PDF (a member of M&A International Inc.) for over two years, and in Deutsche Bank as a project manager for about two years. She rejoined KPMG in March 2007. She gathered extensive experience in corporate finance and M&A assignments. She carried out the IPOs of EGS Dis, Ceylan, Link and Ihlas GYO, Sasa, Nurol GYO, Acibadem and Tupras. Hande also led several M&A deals (S&T and Protek, Tentour & First Choice and J/V of Yurtiçi Kargo and Tibbett & Britten), involved in privatization projects (advisor to the PA in Ditas), performed valuation approaches including discounted cash flows and comparable multiples for different industries.

Mr.Sefer ALTIOGLU graduated from Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences of Gazi University in 1988. Between 1989-2003, he worked as Financial Auditor, Branch Manager and Marketing Coordinator in several banks. He has been General Manager and Member of Board in Creditwest Faktoring since 2004.

Murat Ozgen joined Is Private Equity in February 2002.

Murat Ozgen was formerly a Division Manager at Project and Investment
Finance Group at Koc Bank. He previously worked at Commerzbank AG in New
York, focusing on risk and portfolio management and at Facility Group Inc.
in Atlanta, USA.

Murat Ozgen has an MBA from Mercer University and a BA in Business
Administration from Istanbul University.

Since April 2008, Mr Dönmez has been the CEO and Board Member of Turkish Derivatives Exchange.
Mr. Çetin Ali Dönmez started his professional career in the Equity Market at Istanbul Stock Exchange, then took a leading role in the re-organization of the equity market trading system and later in the various stages of transition to the electronic trading project. In 1995, Mr. Dönmez worked as Assistant Manager at Takasbank (the Clearing House) in the establishment of the margin trading and securities lending market.

He then took on the role of ISE Directorate of Futures Market, where he assumed team leadership role in the electronic trading analysis, design and test stages of the futures market. He became the Director of the ISE Futures Market in 1997 and appointed as the Director in 2006.

Metin Mansur is the Chairman of the Turkish - British Business Council operating under the aegis of DEIK – Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey, a non-profit NGO. Metin Mansur is also Managing Director of Ege Chemicals Inc. manufacturing industrial chemicals for a variety of sectors and also founded and managed Egemen Inc. and Ege Agriculture Inc. within Ege Holding. Prior to joining Ege Holding he worked at Wycombe Marsh Paper Mills in the UK for 13 years.

Yesim Karayel graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics. Ms. Karayel started her career at Isbank in 1984 and worked as financial analyst before joining the Corporate Finance department in 1993 at Isbank.

Ms. Karayel joined Is Investment in 1997 and since then managed the Public Offering, Privatisation, Restructuring and M&A projects in different sectors under the scope of Corporate Finance. Yesim Karayel is the manager of Public Offerings and Privatisation at Is Investment since 2002.

Zafer Kurtul joined Akbank in 1998 as an Executive Vice President and in November 2000 was appointed the CEO. Previously he worked at Citibank, BNP-Ak-Dresdner Bank and Société Générale. Mr. Kurtul has an undergraduate degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration and an MBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Mr. Kurtul is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is a member of Institut International D’etudes Bancaires.

Salih started his professional career at Manufacturers Hanover Bank (currently known as JP Morgan Chase) in New York. He moved to their European Headquarters in Paris in 1990, then joined the Istanbul Branch in 1991. During 1992-1993, he worked as the General Manager of the Brokerage subsidiary. He joined Eczacibasi Securities in 1994, developing the Portfolio and Fund Management operations, which became an Asset Management subsidiary with the partnership of Union Bancaire Privee (Geneva) in 2002.

Jochem Emmen is General Manager and CEO of Finance & Insurance Turkey, a leading insurance broker specialized in credit insurance. He is a Dutch national and started his career with credit insurer Atradius in Holland. He is specialized in all areas of credit insurance, being risk underwriting, policy structuring and sales. He set up Finance & Insurance Turkey in 2006 to address the development of credit insurance solutions in Turkey, which covers both domestic receivables as well as export trade.

EROL was appointed chairman to the Capital Markets Board of Turkey in June 2007. He was previously associate professor in Baskent University in Ankara, in February 2003 during which time he became a board member of the Capital Markets Board. Dr. Erol has a B.Sc. in economics in 1985, had M.Sc. in 1989 and Ph.D. in 1996 from Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

EROL has written a variety of key publications both in Turkey and abroad in the field of economics and finance, including, Corporate debt and output pricing in developing countries: Industry-level evidence from Turkey, Journal of Development Economics, Vol.:76 (2005) and Strategic Debt with Diverse Maturity in Developing Countries, Emerging Markets Finance & Trade, Vol.:40 (2004) to name a few.

Born in Milan in 1962, married with Marta.

He took his University Degree in Engineering with Honour - 1986.

Then, after having served in the Italian Army as Lieutenant, he joined the MBA program of the “Politecnico di Milano”, where he graduated in 1989 Master in Business Administration.

He then started to work for the multinational French/Canadian firm Schlumberger and by mid 1989 he entered the Telecom Italia (formerly Stet) Group.

Starting as Marketing Manager he progressed in responsibility and carrier being appointed Director for International Sales and then Strategic Programs and International Business Development, being active in the US, Brazil and Argentina.

In 1996 he was appointed CEO of Orbcomm Europe, a Joint Venture among the main Telecommunications Operators in Europe, for telecommunications services and applications to mobiles and utilities.

He left Telecom Italia in 2000 to join - as General Manager of TV Files - the main Venture Capital initiative in Italy: Pino Venture Patners. Then he moved to the Enertad Group (Tadfin) - renewable energy (wind) and diversified activities - in 2002 as General Manager.

There he managed the industrial restructuring plan of the renewable energy Group in financial troubles.

After the completion of the reorganization of the Goup that led to the sales of the listed company Enertad to ERG, he joined, at the beginning of 2007, Cementerie Aldo Barbetti S.p.A. as General Manager.

Enrico Boari is the founder of Idata, a consulting company whose activities range from M&A to defining corporate strategies and to key process re-engineering.
Idata supports clients in expanding their operations to increase long term profitability. Client portfolio include goverments, multinationals and medium sized businesses.Prior to Idata, Enrico Boari was the Managing Director of Merloni in Turkey and Montedison.

Mr. Konukoglu has been serving as Board Member of Sanko Holding, which is one of the biggest conglomerate in Turkey operating in 12 industries with more than 14,000 employees, since 1987.
Mr. Konukoglu served as CFO of Sanko Holding until 2005 and currently is leading the activities in Cement, Textile, Health& Education, and Energy.

Suleyman Aslan is a graduate of Middle East Technical University (Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations). He began his career as an associate in the School of Banking of Ziraat Bank's Training Department and subsequently served as specialist in Human Resources and Capital Markets Departments, as assistant manager in the Istanbul Investment Securities Branch and Capital Markets Department, as division manager in the Bonds and Bills Department, General Manager and Board Member of Ziraat Asset Management, and head of the Foreign Exchange and Money Markets Department. Mr Aslan became Deputy General Manager responsible for Treasury Management at Halkbank on 17 June 2005. He speaks English and has 12 years of professional experience. Also from the beginning of 2008 on , Mr. Aslan is acting Deputy General Manager responsible for International Banking.

Cem Ayhan Azak is a Manager of Investment Banking, Turkey at Barclays Capital.
Based in London, he is responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s investment banking coverage activities in Turkey.
Prior to his assignment in London, Mr. Azak was a member of the Global Covered Bonds Team at Barclays Capital in Frankfurt. He originated benchmark covered bond issues and marketed them worldwide to institutional investors. He has worked with several central banks and governments in developing their covered bond legislation. Mr. Azak joined Barclays Capital in June 2004 from Credit Suisse First Boston in Frankfurt.
Mr. Azak has served as the President of the European Association of Turkish Academics (EATA) and is a board member of the Liberal Turkish-German Association (LTD). Mr. Azak studied law in Germany and the United States.

Celik Kurtoglu is an economist. He sits on the boards of DEIK, TEKFEN BANK, Black Sea Economic Cooperation Council, TEMA (Chairman). He entered into the financial sector in Istanbul in 1995 advising on corporate finance related issues, established Kurdoglu Consultancy A.S. specializing in strategy, finance and business development – and in 1999, "iyi sirket" Danismanlik A.S. in 2002, where corporate finance and corporate governance advisory. He was advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey (1978-82), research administrator at the Development Centre of the OECD in Paris (1983-87), founding executive director of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) of Turkey (1987-95).

Mr. Erdal Aral has been working as Manager of Treasury Department since the 30th of July, 2002. He joined Isbank in 1989 as Assistant Inspector at the Board of Inspectors. Between 1995 & 1996 he was a member of the Organization Department and then promoted to the position of Assistant Manager at the Treasury Department. Until July the 30th, 2002 he worked as Group Manager of Treasury Department.
