Martin Raiser holds the position of Economic Advisor in the World Bank's Regional Office for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine in Kiyv. He leads the Bank's economic analysis work in the three countries and is team leader for the Development Policy Loan program of the World Bank in Ukraine. Mr. Raiser is also leading work on the development of a new World Bank Country Partnership Strategy for Ukraine. Prior to his assignment to Kiyv, Mr. Raiser was the World Bank's Country Manager and head of office in Uzbekistan. Mr. Raiser has previously worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, where he was a Director for Country Analysis and Strategy and an Editor of the annual Transition Report. Robert Shetler-Jones is Chief Executive Officer of Group DF Limited. He began his business career in Kyiv in 1991 as the founder of BPI, a consultancy, offering advisory services to facilitate business between the UK and Ukraine. Between 1993 and 1994 he managed the Kyiv office of Jones East 8, the real estate agency practice and in 1994 became the joint Managing Director of DG Jones & Partners, Kyiv, one of the leading international Quantity Surveying practices. From 1998 until 2003, Mr. Shetler-Jones worked for Commonwealth Property Investors, an affiliate of AEW International, as Project Coordinator for a US$50 million private equity fund that invested in property developments in the FSU. He was General Director of Dniprovska Prystan, a property development company in Kyiv, and was responsible for managing a US$100 million residential project on behalf of UK and Ukrainian investors and subsequently a Director of Sabre Management Group, a specialist hotel development company in the FSU. Latterly, he became Managing Director of RSJ Erste GmbH, an investment company owning chemical production assets in Ukraine, Germany and Italy, including soda ash and titanium dioxide. RSJ Erste is now part of OSTCHEM Holdings, a subsidiary of GDF. He is also founder and Chairman of Scythian Limited, a consultancy advising businesses on structuring of corporate acquisitions in the Former Soviet Union.
Mr. Shetler-Jones graduated from the University of Surrey with a B.Sc. Honours, in Linguistic and International Studies in 1991. He is a fluent Russian speaker.

Was born on August 12, 1944 in Pokotilovo village Novoarkhangelsk District Kirovograd Region. In 1969 graduated from Dnepropetrovsk Chemical-Technological Institute, specialty – Chemical Engineer. In December 1982 was appointed to the post of Dneprodzerzhinsk “Azot” Production Association Director. In April 1987 was transferred to Gorlovka “Stirol” Production Association (currently SC “Concern Stirol”). Was working in the positions of Chief Engineer, Director and Director General of Stirol. After establishing of joint stock company “Concern Stirol” in September 1995 was elected for the post the President of the Company, Chairman of the Board. Since 1998 - People’s Deputy of Ukraine.
Mr. Yankovsky is the author of 200 studies (articles, manuals), and six monographs as well.

Kamen Zahariev is Country Director for Ukraine at the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development since March 2003. He is responsible for the overall development of the EBRD’s activities in Ukraine and oversees its 2 billion Euro portfolio of public and private sector loans and equity investments in the country. He previously held the position of Head of the Corporate Recovery and Litigation Team within the Legal Department of the EBRD. Kamen Zahariev has also advised EBRD management on legal and institutional aspects of EBRD’s nuclear safety programmes and acted as legal counsel for the Nuclear Safety Account and the Chernobyl Shelter Fund, managed by EBRD.
Kamen Zahariev serves on the supervisory boards of various industrial companies and investment funds in Eastern Europe. He is member of several high-level organisations of foreign investors in Ukraine such as the European Business Association and the American Chamber of Commerce. Kamen Zahariev is also actively involved in the policy dialogue with the Government of Ukraine on issues of market reforms in the energy, transport and municipal finance areas.
Kamen Zahariev has a PhD in international law from the Academy of Science, Berlin Germany and a degree in international and comparative law from the Moscow Institute of International Relations. He has over ten years of experience in international and comparative law, banking and project finance and is the author of several publications in German and English on international law and on the legal aspects of banking and finance in Central and Eastern Europe.
